Ukranian police will from now on consider all protesters on Independence Square and those occupying official buildings in central Kiev as extremist groups, Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko said on Saturday.
"Leave the radicals, no one is going to thwart a peaceful protest, and go to any other, safe place," he said in an appeal to opposition leaders.
"Those remaining on the Maidan (Independence Square) and in occupied buildings are going to be seen as extremist groups. If danger occurs... we will be compelled to use force."
