EgyptAir for Aviation Services announced on Thursday that it was granted a new international ISO certificate after passing the annual inspection conducted by a special delegation from TÜV Austria, one of the international companies granting the ISO certificates worldwide.

Hisham Abdel-Hafeez, chairman of the board of directors of EgyptAir for Aviation Services Company, which follows EgyptAir, stated that such international accreditations help in conducting cooperation agreements and protocols with major international companies and organizations that require those certificates.

He explained that earlier this year the company was granted the ISO 9001-2015 certificates for system quality, and ISO 22000: 2018 for food safety after passing annual inspection procedures.

Abdel-Hafeez added that implementing quality management systems in accordance with the international standard ISO22000: 2018 would contribute in upgrading the company's performance to ensure the maximum degree of customer satisfaction.

Meanwhile, the TÜV Austria delegation praised the company for its commitment to applying all international standards, which must be met in terms of system quality and food safety in order to obtain the ISO.
