Egypt’s Ministry of International Cooperation, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), has released a People & Projects & Purpose video within the Creative Mediterranean project.

The video comes under the Ministry’s Global Partnerships Narrative that aims to showcase Egypt’s success stories in development as a core principle of economic diplomacy with development partners across various sectors.

People & Projects & Purpose are the key pillars of the narrative, which are “People a the core”, “Projects in action” and “Purpose as the driver”, highlighting development cooperation in pursuit of sustainable development goals (SDGs).

The video was also retweeted on UNIDO Egypt’s social media pages, putting Egypt’s development story on a global stage through modern social media marketing tools.

The Creative Mediterranean project has trained over 500 designers on business skills and entrepreneurship, provided over 300 job opportunities, and developed and branded 17 new product lines to be sold and exported in external markets, according to the ministry.

The ministry also produced the ‘Beyond Food’ video with the World Food Programme (WFP) ahead of its field trip to Luxor in October, which was retweeted on the WFP’s social media pages as well as by WFP executive director David Beasley.

Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat said that the Global Partnerships Narrative initiative aims at highlighting Egypt’s drive to adopt inclusive growth and ensure that the promotion of future collaborations is based on a consistent and complete narrative between the Egyptian government and its multilateral and bilateral partners, generated through robust connections and engagement.
