Malaysia’s FM discusses investments opportunities in Suez Economic Zone with SCZone chairman

Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham El-Din Hussein met on Monday with Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Yehia Zaki to discuss investment opportunities in the economic zone

The Malaysian FM’s visit is his first to Egypt since he took up his position last March.  

The meeting addressed attracting Malaysian investments in the Suez Canal industrial zones and affiliated ports.

Zaki presented the most important points of the strategy on which the zone is based, as well as the regulations and laws issued during the last period to attract more investments and create a favourable business climate for investors.

The Malaysian FM referred to the importance of cooperation with the Suez Canal Economic Zone to attract Malaysian investments, expressing his country's desire to pump investments into Egypt, as it is the gateway to Africa.
