Egypt's main airline has added 61 extra flights to the resort towns of Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada ahead of the Eid Al-fitr Islamic holiday, EgyptAir said on Thursday.
From 25 July to 5 August, the airline will operate 303 total flights to the tourist-friendly destinations in South Sinai and Red Sea governorates, the company's statement added.
Similarly, the Egyptian National Railways Authority has put eight additional journeys – from Cairo to Aswan – on its daily schedule for the three-day holiday, one of the busiest travel times of the year.
Eid Al-Fitr, a religious feast celebrated by Muslims worldwide, marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
