Dutch company OCI N.V. reported a net profit rise of 9 percent to $85.6 million for the six month period ending on 30 June 2014, in semi-annual condensed consolidated financial statements released on Wednesday.
OCI N.V. is a global producer of natural gas-based fertilisers and chemicals as well as an engineering and construction contractor based in the Netherlands and listed in the NYSE Euronext in Amsterdam.
The group – which has two operating segments, fertilisers and chemicals and engineering and construction – reported revenues of $2.32 billion in the first half of this year, compared to $2.25 billion in the same period of 2013.
Cash flow from operations reached $194.7 million, up from $110.8 million last year, while investments brought in $550.7 million, down from $674.4 million.
