OCI profits rise 10.8% in 2014

Global fertiliser and industrial company, Orascom Construction Industries (OCI), saw its net profits rise 10.8 percent to $328 million in 2014 compared to $296 million a year earlier, the company announced in a press release on Wednesday.

The rise in the bottom line follows an eight percent increase in revenues to $2.7 billion from $2.5 billion.

OCI N.V. is a global producer of natural gas-based fertilisers and chemicals as well as an engineering and construction contractor based in the Netherlands and listed in the NYSE Euronext in Amsterdam.
