Egypt's stocks continue upward trend on Tuesday

Egypt’s main index EGX30 ended Tuesday’s trading in green, slightly up 0.2 percent to reach 6,421 points led by the real estate and telecommunication sectors.

Out of 151 traded shares, 84 went up while 28 declined in a session that saw a daily turnover for listed securities worth LE456.6 million.

The market’s blue chip stock Commercial International Bank (CIB) dipped 1.11 percent to be sold at LE33.92 per share. Only non-Arab investors recorded net selling to the tune of LE116.5 million.

Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding (OTMTH), Global Telecom Holding (OTH) gained 3.92 percent and 1 percent, registering LE0.53 per share and LE1.99 per share respectively.

Heavyweight real estate developer Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) inched up 0.17 percent to close the day at LE6.01 per share.
