Egypt's central bank cancelled a two-year and three-year re-opened bond auction worth LE4 billion (US$671 million) in total, it said on Monday.
The bank auctions the instruments on behalf of Egypt's Finance Ministry, which had offered LE2 billion of each.
The two-year bond had a 13.1 per cent coupon. The three-year bond had a 13.35 per cent coupon.
The central bank gave no reason for the cancellation.
