Egypt stocks closed 1.3 per cent down

Index takes a dip for second consecutive day as trading volume remains limited

Egyptian stocks have fallen for their second consecutive session, the EGX30 benchmark closing Tuesday down 1.26 per cent at 4.025.7 points.

Total marker turnover was LE203.97 million, an improvement on Monday's new low, but still a fraction of its pre-revolution level.
Orascom Construction Industries was responsible for around an eighth of total trade.
Personal and household products and travel and leisure are the only two sectors to see green.
