Arab tourists in Turkey increased 26 per cent in the first 9 months of 2011, compared to same period last year, finds a report published on Saturday in Ankara, by Turkish circle of tourism and culture.
677 thousands Arab tourist visited Istanbul, falling second after Germans (734 thousand).
Turkey received 6 million tourists in first 9 months of 2011, up from 5.7, last year.
The Arab spring neighbour signed agreements to facilitate tourism and offers visa upon entry to many Arab countries.
