113 new companies were established this week, creating more then 1000 job opportunities.

The new firms are mainly small to medium sized local investments, one in every three is an individual company.  

Total issued capital remained almost unchanged, reaching LE161 million, funded mainly by local contributions.

Arab investment represents 3.5 per cent, and no significant foriegn investment was reported.

Services and manufacturing were the two main hubs for investmtents this week.
