A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit Egypt Saturday to hold talks with the Egyptian government on financing the country’s economic reform programme, the organisation said in a statement on Thursday.
Following President Abdel El-Fattah El-Sisi’s meeting with the cabinet on Wednesday, the Egyptian presidency stated that Egypt was close to signing a new lending programme with the IMF.
