Egyptian stocks have closed Sunday in the green, the benchmark EGX30 edging up 0.83 per cent to 4,300 points.

The majority of stocks – over 120 in the day’s 173 -- finished in the green.

Most market sectors were up, with telecoms the only one to take an overall loss.

Total turnover was LE186.2 million, significantly down on recent sessions.
