Egypt's stocks closed on Sundac in red after the sharp fall in Dow Jones as well in stock markets in Europe on Friday.
The main Egy X 30 Index dropped by 1.42 percent to 14874.8 points, while Egy X 70 Index dropped by 1.51 percent to 857.8 points.
The all-embracing Egy X 100 Index dropped by 0.80 percent to 2040.8.
The shares of the companies' registered in the stock market reportedly lost EGP 9 billion in the first ten minutes of Sunday seesion.
The market capital lost LE 10.3 billion, closing at 851.158 billion.
