Egypt stocks look like closing Sunday firmly in the green with the benchmark EGX30 trading up 1.28 per cent at 3,918 points less than a half hour before the session's end.
Top traders are Orascom Telecom and Orascom Telecom Media And Technology Holding. Telecommunications firm OT was split in two late last year, with trading suspended until the de-merger took effect.
Sunday is the first trade of the company's stock since 29 November.
The main index gained a net 2.35 per cent over five sessions last week.
