Market Update: Egypt stocks up 0.8 pct mid-Wednesday

Egypt's major stocks are well into their second day of consecutive gains, the benchmark EGX30 up 0.78 per cent at 4,684.6 points an hour before the close of Wednesday trade.

The broader EGX70 is also trading up 0.68 per cent.
 
Orascom Telecom and Orascom Construction Industries are again seeing the heaviest trade.
