EgyptAir has announced an agreement with AeroMobile, a subsidiary of Panasonic Avionics Corporation, to provide inflight communications services for its Boeing B787-9 aircrafts.

In a statement on Thursday, the national flag carrier described the deal as an important step through which internet and roaming services will be available on board of its fleet of dreamliner B787-9 which are operated by the company on its flights to Europe, US and Asia.

As per the deal, EgyptAir’s passengers will enjoy inflight Wi-Fi and Live TV services and will be able to use smart phones to make and receive calls and SMS messages, the statement added.
