Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly had a meeting on Thursday with CEO of Al-Futtaim Group Alain G. Bejjani to assert Egypt's support for real investments in the country.

The meeting was attended by a delegation of Al-Futtaim Group and Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr.

During the meeting, the premier congratulated the group on its newest project; "City Center Almaza," the fourth Majid Al Futtaim shopping mall in Egypt, that is scheduled to celebrate its official opening later today.

Madbouly said he is looking forward to seeing more investments of the group in Egypt, particularly in new cities, noting that the group's investments in Egypt secured nearly 148,000 direct and indirect jobs.

During the meeting, the group's delegation extolled the investment climate in Egypt, lauding economic reform measures that took place in the country and helped to improve the investment environment and remove obstacles to investors.

The delegation noted that they have recently agreed with a group of international brands' owners to open branches in Al Futtaim shopping malls in Egypt.
