The Ministry of Finance auctioned treasury bills at a total value of EGP 15 billion.
In a statement released Thursday, the ministry said it sold 182-day T-bills worth EGP 7.5 billion with average yield of 13.185%, adding it accepted bids at rates between 13.349% and 12.5%.
Also, 364-day T-bills worth EGP 7.5 billion were sold, with average yield of 13.12%, it noted, adding that it accepted bids at rates between 13.291% and 12.5%.
