BlackBerry to hold Cairo software development seminar

Smart Village event starting 1 April will provide programmers with hands-on workshops in building smart phone apps

The maker of BlackBerry smart phones is organising a two-day forum for software developers in Cairo at the start of April.

Canada-based Research In Motion (RIM) will hold the event at Smart Village, on the western edge of the capital, from 1 to 2 April.
 
RIM experts will attend the event and provide hands-on workshops in building BlackBerry applications using HTML5 or Java, the company said in a statement.
