Egypt's stocks are charting solid gains for the second consecutive session, the benchmark EXG30 up 1.86 per cent at 4,738.5 points by mid-Thursday.
The broader EGX70 is also gaining, up 0.87 per cent
Stocks in Mobinil and Telecom Egypt are seeing the heaviest trade, the former spurred by reports that France Telecom is in the final stages of agreeing a takeover of the mobile operator.
