The Al-Ahram Establishment will kickoff its annual energy-focused conference on December 14 with the participation of leading officials and experts from the petroleum and energy sectors.
The forum, dubbed “Harvest of Reform and Future of Development,” will be held under the auspices of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and see the participation of Electricity and Renewable energy Minister Mohamed Shaker along with Petroleum Minister Tarek El-Molla.
Several other ministers, senior officials and heads of major global and Arab oil and energy corporations will also attend the forum.
Abdel-Mohsen Salama, chairman of Al-Ahram and head of the forum, said the establishment is keen on a continued cooperation with state institutions in organizing the forum due to its importance as a platform for “golden opportunities” on the future of energy in the country.
“Despite of the circumstances faced globally and in Egypt due to the surge in coronavirus cases, Al-Ahram was determined with its partners to go forward with the forum…with a full adherence of preventive measures against the virus,” said Salama.
The forum’s new edition will include extensive discussions by officials and experts over several issues related to the harvest of reforms and the future of development in the energy field as well as achievements in the strategic sector.
