Financial institutions take one-day holiday for the 30th anniversary of Israeli withdrawal from the peninsula

Egypt's banks and stock exchange will be closed Wednesday to mark Sinai Liberation Day, according to local media.

A national holiday, 25 April marks the anniversary of Israel’s final military withdrawal from the Sinai Peninsula in 1982.
 
Banks and Bourse will reopen on Thursday for the final trading day of the week.
