The ministerial preparatory meetings forr the proceedings of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee are set to start virtually on Monday.
The meetings, which will be chaired by Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat, will be attended by eight ministers from both countries.
Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and the Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh will co-chair the 29th round of the committee's meetings on Tuesday.
The two sides are expected to ink bilateral cooperation deals in various sectors.
On Saturday, the committee held preparatory meetings on the experts' level.
Over the past few weeks, Egyptian and Jordanian officials have held preparatory meetings in Cairo to review progress in implementing previously agreed upon joint projects.
In January, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and the Jordanian King Abdullah II affirmed during a summit in Amman the importance of enhancing bilateral economic and trade cooperation within a framework of a tripartite cooperation mechanism that includes Iraq.
