Egypt's stocks are trading up in the first session of the week, the benchmark EGX30 up 1.2 per cent at 4,985 points just before mid-Sunday.
The broader EGX70 is also up 1.4 percent.
From the around 110 stocks currently listed, more than 80 are gaining value.
