Egyptian stocks have closed in the green for the week's second consecutive session, with the benchmark EGX30 finishing Monday up 1.09 per cent at 5,028 points.
The broader EGX70, by contrast, slipped a marginal 0.13 per cent.
Turnover was over LE440 million ($73m), its highest level in several sessions, powered by more than LE130 million worth of trade in EFG-Hermes investment bank.
