Would-be sex pill smuggler faces hard time after a routine security check uncovers surprising contents to his luggage

Staff at Cairo airport have thwarted a Nigerian citizen's attempt to smuggle "large quantities" of sexual stimulants to his home country, the state-run Al-Ahram newspaper reported on Sunday.

The Nigerian citizen, due to fly back to Lagos, was stopped for a routine airport security check by a low-ranking police officer who searched the passenger's baggage and discovered the medical stimulants.

Having failed to produce the documents required to travel with a large amount of pills, the passenger tried to offer a $100 bribe for the trangression to be overlooked. The police officer refused, according to Al-Ahram's report.
