Egyptian commodity purchasing enterprise Meditrade has bought 34,000 tonnes of sunflower oil and 6,000 tonnes of soyoil, a trader said on Wednesday.
Meditrade bought 20,000 tonnes of sunflower oil from Nidera at $1,197 per tonne and 14,000 tonnes of sunflower oil from Quadra at $1,196.50 per tonne, with both orders for delivery 1-21 June, the trader said.
He also said Meditrade bought 6,000 tonnes of soyoil from the National Vegetable Oil Company at LE7,150 ($1,200) for delivery 15-31 May.
