Egyptian stocks have bounced back into the green, the benchmark EGX30 up 1.8 per cent at 4,878 points by the close of Monday's session.
The broader EGX70 gained 1.39 per cent.
The main index dropped 2 per cent on Sunday as investors cut their exposure ahead of this week's long-awaited presidential elections.
Market turnover was above LE270 million, with Orascom Telecom Media and Technology seeing the heaviest trade.
