Egypt's Journalists Syndicate announced the results on Thursday with five other journalists from Al-Ahram winning awards.

Awards were presented for first and second place in 12 categories, alongside another 13 special awards.

Abdel-Moneim secured the Samir Abdel-Qader Prize in Economic Journalism for her informative feature SDGs vs COVID-19 in developing countries: The acid test.

She has bagged ten of these prizes at the Egyptian Press Awards throughout her professional career.

In March, Abdel-Moneim also won first place at the Nawal Omar Journalism Award for the same feature.
