The chief executive at the country's landline monopoly Telecom Egypt (TE) will step down in mid-August, the company announced on Monday.
Tarek Aboualam is leaving on 11 August for personal reasons with his successor to be named shortly, TE said in a statement.
TE also announced the 26 June resignation of Mohamed Samy Saad Zaghloul from its board of directors, also citing personal reasons.
