The Ministry of International Cooperation confirmed that the partnership includes an 8 million euro grant as part of the overall 17.5 million euro grant designated for the InnoPA initiative.
InnoPA's main goal is to create a development lab for government service apps, advance digital transformation, and improve online human resources management.
According to Minister of International Cooperation Rania El-Mashat, the InnoPA project aims to revamp the civil services system and encourage innovation in government service organizations.
El-Mashat emphasized that the cooperation portfolio with German partners covers several high-priority sectors, totaling around 1.6 billion euros.
Egypt's development portfolio currently comprises 34 projects worth $1 billion, with several partners involved.
The InnoPA programme began in March 2022 and is scheduled to run until 2025.
