The minister emphasized the investment potential in transformative projects situated in Egypt's Economic Zone of the Suez Canal, the golden triangle, the new administrative capital, and new cities.

The minister delivered her persuasive message while speaking at a conference hosted by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna.

Al-Mashat emphasized Egypt's potential to serve as a gateway for Austrian companies to access a market of over 1.5 billion people in Africa.

Egypt aims to boost foreign direct investment (FDI) and increase the private sector's contribution to the GDP.

In April, Egypt's Trade Minister, Ahmed Samir, stated that Austrian investors have participated in 173 projects spanning various sectors in Egypt, such as industry, services, tourism, construction, finance, agriculture, telecommunications, and information technology.

Last year, trade between the two countries increased by 20 percent to approximately $339.5 million.
