According to a statement by CBE on Sunday, regular banking operations will resume on Sunday 28 January.
Last week, the cabinet also announced that Thursday 25 January will be a paid day off for employees in both private and public sectors.
The holiday marks the thirteenth anniversary of the 2011 revolution.
It also marks the Police Day, which commemorates the massacre of 50 Egyptian policemen by British occupation forces in Ismailia in 1952.
