A steering committee is an advisory group that makes directional decisions on various organizational projects.
The CSO Steering Committee will be an additional forum for dialogue and communication between the Bank and civil society and will enhance its engagement with key stakeholders, the EBRD said.
The bank added that the committee will also be responsible for advising the bank on country and sectoral public consultations, and provide input to and coordination of the CSO programme at the EBRD’s Annual Meeting and Business Forum.
The current formation of the CSO Steering Committee will run until the end of 2025.
Since 1991, EBRD has partnered with 750 companies in different regions, with over €14 billion in investments, across multiple industries – from agribusiness to manufacturing and services to infrastructure and real estate.
