The Egyptian Stock Exchange will be closed, along with all banks operating in Egypt, from Thursday, 8 August, to Sunday, 11 August inclusive, the Egyptian Exchange and Central Bank of Egypt announced Thursday.
The four-day bank holiday comes with the Islamic feast of Eid El-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Stock Exchange and banks are due to resume work on Monday, 12 August.
