Grant will be used for interior and justice ministries 'exposed to acts of sabotage' during revolution, says finance minister

The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development has agreed to give Egypt a US$15 million grant, according to the state-run MENA news agency.

The money will be used to restore buildings belonging to the interior and justice ministries that were "exposed to acts of sabotage" during the events of the January 25 revolution, said Egypt's Finance Minister Samir Radwan, quoted by MENA in Damascus.

Radwan was in Damascus on Thursday rounding up a three-day visit to Syria during which he participated in various joint annual meetings of Arab financial institutions.
