The scholarship, which is open to Egyptian nationals and targets those who graduated from university between 2018 and 2023, is scheduled to start on 15 July.

The full scholarship offers four training tracks in the latest information and communication technologies with the aim of bridging the skills gap in the regional and international market.

Designed in cooperation with the NTI’s more than 25 industry partners, the tracks cover cybersecurity, data and telecom networks, cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI).

According to the NTI's official website, each track has duration of four months including three month technical and soft skills programmes and one month on-the-job training at industry partners including Vodafone, Huawei, Cisco, Valeo and Amazon.

Candidates will be allowed to join after a screening process in cooperation with the NTI’s industry partners, the institute said.

After passing the track the candidates will receive joint certificates from NTI and industry partners.

The NTI, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, was founded in 1983 with a mandate of becoming the centre of excellence for telecommunication education, training, research and development and consultancy services.
