The ministry said the programme is open to those with projects in educational technology, renewable energy, e-commerce, smart cities, embedded systems, electronics, manufacturing technology, AgriTech, sustainable transportation, healthcare, environmental technology, and more.
It offers financial and technical support of up to EGP 360,000. This includes a grant of EGP 180,000 and EGP 180,000 worth of dedicated services like mentoring, business consulting, and office space.
The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre (TIEC), under the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), organizes the programme.
Moreover, CREATIVA Innovation Hubs across various governorates will be hosting the programme.
The nine-month programme will be running from October 2024 to June 2025.
It aims to assist startups in various aspects, including validating their business models, launching products, and navigating market challenges.
Additionally, it will offer guidance on legal responsibilities, company registration, and financial management to ensure sustainable growth and minimize risks.
The programme's first cohort was launched in April 2024 and is still running, with its activities to conclude in February 2025.
According to the statement, the CREATIVA Incubation Programme reflects the ministry's commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Egypt's emerging technology sectors.
