The event comes amid rapid growth in livestreaming on the platform, which TikTok says has become an increasingly important format for creators seeking to engage audiences in real time across content categories including music, education, gaming, beauty, and fashion.
According to TikTok, LIVE content across the MENAT region grew by more than 44 percent in 2025, while LIVE viewership rose by over 40 percent, driven by features that allow creators to collaborate and interact directly with audiences.
The Dubai gathering, hosted at Ain Dubai Plaza in partnership with BEYOND Developments, marked the conclusion of TikTok’s regional LIVE Fest activities, which followed an online tournament held in November 2025 during which creators collaborated across borders.
Mohamed Enaba, Strategic Partner Manager at TikTok LIVE MENA, said the festival reflects how creators are using livestreaming to build communities beyond traditional content formats.
The programme featured live performances by Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny, alongside appearances by Yasmina A., Turkish singer Gökçe Özgülok, and TikTok LIVE creator Amr Mano, who performed an original song. The event also included a drone display and performances by regional creators.
Awards were presented to leading creators, including Abo Hamad as MENA LIVE Creator of the Year, Amr Mano as LIVE MENA Music Creator of the Year, Douha Laribii as MENA LIVE Beauty and Fashion Creator of the Year, and Sahar Suleiman with the MENA LIVE Business Excellence Award. Tamer Hosny received a special Megastar of the Year recognition.
The MENAT event was part of TikTok’s wider global LIVE Fest series, which the company says aims to support creator development and highlight the role of livestreaming in shaping online communities.
