President Sisi signs laws closing 2019-2020 final accounts of Egyptian associations

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Sunday signed a number of laws that are related to the closing statements of some state bodies for the fiscal year 2019/2020.

Among the entities are the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency with a final statement of the budget of around EGP 117.730 million, and Hydro Power Projects Executive Authority with a budget statement that hit EGP 136.897 million.

Under the laws, the final statement of the Egyptian Nuclear Power Plants Authority reached EGP 5.365 billion, and that of the New & Renewable Energy Authority stood at EGP 5.482 billion.

Also, the final statement of the Egyptian National Railways Authority hit EGP 1.809 billion, while that of the General Authority for Public Transport Authority touched EGP 4.736 billion.

The laws include other bodies like the Alexandria Port Authority with a final statement that hits EGP 59.704 million, in addition to the Red Sea Harbours Authority with a final statement that reached EGP 2.907 billion.

Also, the laws included the Suez Canal Authority with a final statement worth EGP 48.874 billion.

The laws were published on Sunday in the official Gazette.
