Egypt’s Minister of Transport Kamel El-Wazir and chairman of El-Sewedi Electric Ahmed El-Sewedi witnessed the signing of the MoU, which took place at the Smart Transport event (TransMEA2021) that kicked off on Sunday under the patronage of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.
The MoU involves training programmes for workers in the railway sector.
Chairman of the Railway Authority Mostafa Makarem said that the MoU is part of the transport ministry’s plan to continue improving Egypt’s railways.
Secretary-general of El-Sewedi’s technical academy Hanan El-Rihany noted that the programme will be completed over two stages that involve training, improving curricula and upgrading training centres in the Egyptian Railways Authority.
