Egypt's EGX indices down, benchmark declines 0.73%

Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indices went down collectively at the close of Tuesday's trading, pushed by sales by foreign and Arab investors, amid anticipation that new incentives would be introduced for the market.

The market capital lost about EGP 9.9 billion, closing at EGP 709.912 billion.

The EGX 30 benchmark index decreased 0.73 percent, standing at 11,413.21 points.

The broader EGX 70 EWI of the leading small and medium enterprises (SMEs) fell sharply by 4.63 percent, recording 2,031.01 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index was also down by 3.73 percent, registering 2,990.32 points.
