The benchmark index EGX30 slipped 0.36 percent to close at 17452.22 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50, EGX70, and EGX100 indices rose by 0.81 percent, 0.72 percent, and 0.64 percent, respectively, ending at 3087.53 points, 3013.56 points, and 4578.64 points.
Market cap increased to EGP 1.129 trillion on Wednesday from EGP 1.22 trillion on the same day a week earlier.
Egyptians were net buyers with a total value of EGP 282.45 million, while Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers, with totals of EGP 8.12 million and EGP 274.328 million, respectively.
