Gold prices
 

The price of 24-carat gold increased by EGP 34.25 to EGP 2,468.5 per gram.

The 21-carat gold price gained EGP 30 to reach EGP 2,160 per gram.

The per-gram price of 18-carat gold increased by EGP 25.75 to stand at EGP 1,851.5 per gram.

The gold pound also gained EGP 240, reaching EGP 17,280.

Stock market
 

EGX30 edged higher by 0.04 percent to end at 17,712.93 points.

EGX70 fall by 0.8 percent to 3,516.32 points.

EGX100 inched slightly lower by 0.41 percent to close at 5,219.64 points.

The market cap didn’t witness considerable fluctuations on Thursday and stabilized by around EGP 1.164 trillion.

Top gainer was Copper For Commercial Investment & Real Estate Development, which surged by 20 percent to a value of EGP 27.90.

Top loser was Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool, which dropped 17.38 percent, closing at EGP 0.347.

Currencies
 

The official exchange rate for the dollar is relatively stable at EGP 30.84 for purchase and  EGP 30.94 for sale.

The euro rose on Thursday to nearly EGP 33.94 for buying and at EGP 34.05 for selling.

The Saudi riyal's buying price stands at EGP 8.22, and the selling price at EGP 8.25.
