Stock market
The benchmark index EGX30 decreased by 0.59 percent to reach 20,054.7 points.
On the other hand, the EGX70 index rose 0.11 percent to end at 3,789.13 points.
The EGX100 index declined slightly by 0.06 percent to record 5,640.02 points.
The market capitalization lost EGP 4 billion, reaching nearly EGP 1,369 billion.
The biggest gainer for the day was Orascom Construction PLC, jumping around 20 percent to close at EGP 169.21 per share.
The bourse's biggest loser for the day was Fawry For Banking Technology And Electronic Payment. The stock went down 7.16 percent to close at EGP 4.8 per share.
Gold prices
On Sunday, a gram of 24-karat gold stood at EGP 2,462 for purchase, down EGP 46.25 from Wednesday.
A gram of 21-karat gold was valued at EGP 2,155, decreasing by EGP 41.
The price of 18-carat gold reached EGP 1,847.75 per gram, decreasing by EGP 34.25.
The gold pound settled at EGP 17,240, declining by EGP 444.

Currencies
With a buy rate of EGP 30.84 and a sell rate of EGP 30.93, the official rate between the EGP and USD remains stable.
The euro is valued at EGP 32.6 for purchasing and EGP 32.71 for selling.
The Saudi riyal is priced at EGP 8.22 for buying and EGP 8.24 for selling.
