Thales, Hassan Allam link up to drive smart platform uptake in MENA

Egyptian construction giant Hassan Allam has partnered with Thales to ramp up the adoption of the defence contractor's Smart Digital Platform across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), according to a press release on Thursday.

The partnership is set to drive the Smart Digital Platform's deployment among public and private clients, supporting digital transformation within security operations.

Hassan Allam CEO Mohamed El-Dahshoury said the collaboration underscores the company's commitment to innovation in upgrading security through technological solutions.

As Egypt and MENA's premier engineering firm, it will actively promote, market, and support Thales' platform, which combines data from surveillance sensors to enhance systems and keep pace with advances.

Thales Vice President Makrem Dridi emphasized the strength of the tie-up, reflecting Hassan Allam's confidence in the SDP's value. The platform aims to strengthen regional security through innovative products and quality services.

Paris-listed Thales is a global defence and aerospace leader investing heavily in quantum, edge, and cyber technologies.

Family-owned Hassan Allam, active since 1936, delivers major infrastructure projects across Egypt and MENA with a track record of technical capability.
