The newly appointed CEO and Managing Director Board of the Egyptian Mercantile Exchange (EMX), Hossam El-Garrahy
El-Garrahy was a board member of the Egyptian Exchange Holding Company for Markets Development until November 2023.
Between 2010 and 2020, he assumed several positions in the Egyptian Exchange’s trading regulation department and the technical office.
El-Garrahy has over 30 years of experience in the investment and capital markets.
The EMX was established in January 2020 via a partnership between the Egyptian Exchange, the Internal Trade Development Authority, and the General Authority For Supply Commodities.
