The EGX30 index rose 1.19 percent, settling at 28,050 points, a new all-time high.
The EGX70 index inched up 0.12 percent, ending at nearly 6,486 points, and the EGX100 index grew by 0.14 percent, closing at 9,256 points.
Market cap gained around EGP 18 billion to end at EGP 1,980 billion.
AJWA for Food Industries company Egypt was the best performer in the market on Monday, jumping 18.75 percent to end at EGP 63.21.
The worst performer today was CI Capital Holding For Financial Investments, which dropped 6.08 percent to close at EGP 5.41.
Gold purchase prices
The purchase price of 24-carat gold surged EGP 86 to reach EGP 4,097 per gram on Monday, compared to prices on Sunday.
The 21-carat gold price rose by EGP 75 to hit EGP 3,585 per gram, and the 18-carat gold price grew by EGP 65, recording EGP 3,073 per gram.
The gold pound reached EGP 28,680 for purchase, EGP 500 higher than on Sunday.

Currencies
The official EGP/USD exchange rate remained at EGP 30.83 for buying and EGP 30.9586 for selling.
The euro is valued at EGP 33.5708 for purchase and EGP 33.7232 for sale.
The Saudi riyal is priced at EGP 8.2198 for buying and EGP 8.2545 for selling.
